Pure positive product of globalization, AM444 is a duo born from the meeting in Shanghai of ChaCha, singer, MC, muse of the underground nights at the Shelter Club and Jay Soul, Dutch producer. Their two discs deploy an exotic but decidedly urban sound. But the real surprise is ChaCha’s voice which transforms the Mandarin Chinese to a language with sound affinities sometimes strangely consonant with the French language as in the duet "Détache-toi, Shen Jing Mo Shao" made with-M-.
