Considering the important change of the music sector and the emergence of creative industries, face to their technological and economic consequences, more than 37 labels (Mila) and 42 enterprises, institutions and associations (Paris Mix) based in Paris  gathered to create the structuring organization. The aim of the Mila and Paris Mix is to reinforce the music industry in Paris  with a pooling of new human resources, technical means and a development of common cultural, social and economic projects: business incubator, the Mix Box (video set, showcase), Group'Emploi (grouping of employers to pool jobs) The Citizen Box (coworking area), "Music and Internet" training sessions, Live conference « La Musique Demain », strategic watch about digital technologies).
