Prior to found Phonotonic, Nicolas Rasamimanana worked during ten years as a researcher at IRCAM, where he focused on new ways to interact with music using new technologies. lab in music and sound technology, in collaboration with a number of professional musicians. His research works were carried out with a number of professional musicians, and were used in numerous electroacoustic pieces. The technology was awarded 1st prize of Guthman Competition and exhibited at MoMA NYC. Phonotonic now aims at bringing this technology to a broader audience.
